Most Friday nights, the hubs and I like to congratulate ourselves for making it through another week by a dinner date at Chipotle. It’s delicious and cheap. My main two criteria for food. Our little meal outings have always been a big part of our relationship. When we were dating, we would have lunch dates at Planet Sub during the week where we got to know each other. I’d say our best conversations have taken place at a Chipotle or Planet Sub. We enjoy the food and linger around for a while just talking and dreaming up things for the future. In fact, we first started talking about marriage in a back booth in a Planet Sub. People think we’re crazy for always going to the same restaurants, but to me it’s our constant where we like to do all our daydreaming. Also, there’s no way better to my heart than through my stomach. I love going on these “dates”. I look forward to them. It’s just us. And maybe afterwards, there’s a trip to the book store. Do you have any favorite places that you like to frequent?
My husband and I alternate between restaurants but I think we frequent Thai and Chipotle the most. I love Chipotle for the same reasons, cheap and delicious. :)

Lately, we share a tub of popcorn and massive drink at Cinemark because they only cost $3 each to refill. :) When I was pregnant with Shar, we would meet at Chick-Fil-A before my monthly ultrasounds. It's pretty special when we take her now.
ReplyDeleteMy husband and I are OBSESSED with Chipotle! We have tried many times to estimate the amount of money we have spent there in our 7 years together... It's a big number... :)
