Is it too late?

Outfit Details: Dress/Belt: Red Velvet. Cardigan/Shirt: Target.  Shoes: Old Navy. Necklace: My shop

Is it too late to post my Easter outfit?  I broke out this vintage dress my sister bought me for my birthday at Red Velvet.  I haven’t bought a lot of real vintage, so this dress is pretty cool to me.  I paired it with a collared shirt underneath and a peach cardigan since it was a little cold out.  Obviously I had to make a necklace and bracelet to match it.  Just one of the funny things I seem to always do now.  I don't know why I become fixated on certain things sometimes.  Usually they're things that no one will possibly notice or say anything about, but I feel like my outfit is complete with them.  I've been known to work feverishly on finishing a necklace or bracelet in time to wear it that night when I should have been doing countless other things.  I wish I had this fixation on cleaning, but it doesn't wield itself except for seemingly insignificant articles of clothing.

Something that may have been helpful would have been to be a bit more fixated on what was in the background of these pictures.  Trash cans and beat up truck?  Check.  I'll keep that in mind next time.
Read about our trip to visit Red Velvet in Springfield, MO that the girls over at A Beautiful Mess (one of my all time favorite blogs) run here.

  1. You look great! I wish I could put together a necklace and bracelet for any outfit I desire. I love the combination of beads with the cute fabric flower that you used. I also love the pattern on the fabric flower.

Your trip with your sister sounded so fun! It's really sweet that you enjoy little adventures together and cherish your relationship.

  2. Cute!! You are getting so good at putting outfits together! Not that you weren't before ... but you've moved up from our college days of pairing a halter top with tight jeans. Who takes your pictures? Wade? They are great!
